UX/UI Sound Design for
Apps and Digital Products
Every tap, message and confirmation in your product can have a sound. Most products use default system sounds, or none at all.
We design a custom set that fits your product and your brand, so the sounds feel natural to use and unmistakably yours.

Who it is for
Product teams, founders and designers building apps, web platforms, software tools, connected devices and games,
who want their product to feel finished and to sound like themselves.
What We Design
-
Interaction sounds: clicks, taps, toggles and small moments of feedback.
-
Messages and notifications: incoming messages, new conversations and alerts.
-
Confirmations: successful actions, completed steps and errors.
-
Start-up and transition sounds: opening a product, connecting, loading.
-
A complete family: every sound designed to belong to the same set, so the product sounds consistent from the first tap.
Why custom sounds
Default sounds are shared by thousands of other products. Custom sounds do three things for you:
-
They guide. A sound can confirm an action without the user looking at the screen.
-
They give personality. The same product can feel warm, precise, playful or calm, depending on how it sounds.
-
They make you recognisable. Sounds people hear many times a day become part of how they remember your product.
How a project works
-
Brief. You complete our questionnaire and we talk it through: your product, your users, the feel you want, and where sound will play.
-
Key moments. We go through your screens or prototype and list the moments that need a sound. We also decide which sounds will be heard most often, so those stay the most subtle.
-
Two directions. You hear two different directions for your product, so you choose with your ears instead of from a description.
-
The full set. Your chosen direction becomes every sound you need, designed as one family. Two rounds of revisions are included.
-
Checks and delivery. Every sound is checked on the devices people actually use before delivery.

What You Receive
-
Final sounds as WAV files, 24-bit / 48 kHz, each in stereo and mono. Stereo is the default; mono is there if your developers want smaller files or identical playback on every device. Need another format? We will convert the files for you.
-
A short audio style guide listing each sound, when it plays and how long it lasts, so your team can use the sounds correctly.
-
Full ownership of the sounds once the project is complete.
What is included
Most projects start with three sounds. If your product needs more, we add them so the whole set feels like one family. Two rounds of revisions are included. A set of three sounds typically takes one to two weeks from the brief to final files; larger sets take longer.
